Oregon Tech awarded Devon Lindsey the 2026 Pride Award for bringing outstanding recognition and pride to Oregon Tech.

Oregon Tech welcomes graduates, their families, and friends to the Klamath Falls campus on June 13 at 10 a.m. to celebrate the Class of 2026. Oregon Tech graduating students Miranda Valle, Biology-Health Sciences, and Amoi Hoku Rutherford Storm, Mechanical Engineering, will provide addresses on behalf of their colleges.

Oregon Tech has announced the undergraduate winners of its 2026 IDEAfest, a university-wide showcase of research, innovation, and creativity. IDEAfest is an annual event where students present posters and demonstrations of their junior, senior, or capstone projects. Oregon Tech students are known for creating interesting, innovative projects.

Students from Oregon Tech showed their work at the Portland-Metro IDEAfest Project Symposium June 2. The event gave students a chance to present projects that solve real-world problems and show what they have learned in their programs.

Oregon Tech Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Technology students Will Duarte and Cali West recently attended the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging Technologist Section (SNMMI-TS) Future Leaders Academy. The program focuses on developing a clear plan for increasing the leadership abilities of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging professionals.

Carson Weaver, a Dental Hygiene student at Oregon Tech, has been selected as a recipient of the Dennis Muir Scholarship Award of Excellence.

Students from Oregon Tech's Applied Computing & Geomatics (ACG) Department traveled to Missouri State University this spring to compete in America's Innovate IT Collegiate Conference (AITCC), a national competition featuring hands-on, real-world challenges in information technology and cybersecurity. Oregon Tech students earned multiple top finishes across several events, including first- and third-place awards.

The Oregon Tech Honors Program proudly welcomed 17 students during its Induction Ceremony Oct. 18.

Three students from Oregon Tech's Baja Racing team traveled to Gray Court, South Carolina, Oct. 2-5 to compete in the 50th Anniversary of Baja Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Carolina, where college students test their self-built off-road vehicle for performance and endurance. In addition to ranking in the top 20 overall, Oregon Tech Racing ranked 20th for design, 12th for maneuverability, and placed 13th in the endurance race. The competition included schools such as Johns Hopkins University, Cornell University, University of Michigan, and Purdue University.

Eleven students and two instructors from Oregon Tech's Dental Hygiene program in Klamath Falls traveled to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, this summer to provide dental care to underserved populations in rural areas who have limited or no access to dental care. The trip was part of the International Externship Program (IEP), which provides students the opportunity to travel outside the United States and deliver dental care in nontraditional settings and within new cultures.
